I chose the Sphero, Dash, and Parrot programmable robots to enhance my students' exposure to programming robots. These are the new hot items presented by Apple. They incorporate Apple's Swift programming language to operate the robots. It is one of the best ways to introduce students to coding in a fun way. With these tools, I will start in class lesson coding lessons. I can offer after school clubs teaching swift coding application as well. They will be used along with the swift curriculum by apple. The curriculum has been designed to enhance our students learning about coding. I have purchased the new iPad and one robot myself but am seeking to have multiple robots to offer the students. The variety will increase the chance of excessive involvement.
