I work with students in a small town in Piedmont North Carolina. My speech therapy classroom changes every 30 minutes! The students who make up my classroom are creative, full of energy, and enjoy learning. All of the students who enter my classroom have a communication disorder, including articulation, language, and/or fluency. I work with students individually and in smalls groups throughout the day, usually one to three days per week.
In my classroom, each student's voice is valuable and important. Communicating is difficult for the students that I teach. My students thrive on the individual attention I am able to provide them, and find my therapy room a safe, fun place for learning communication skills that will benefit them for their entire lives!
