My students need a home living center in order to build social skills with each other, while also building strong and lasting relationships. These are skills that they need for the real world. They need to learn how to play together and share. Giving them a home living center will help shape them into children who are able to work well with others. These are skills that they will develop and learn how to use even as an adult. Some of my students do not have the opportunity to experience a home living center at their homes, so this will provide them with a new experience as well.
