College Decision Day is an event where seniors can announce the college they wish to attend in the fall following application season. The event serves as an opportunity for communities to formally support seniors in their secondary choices, and provide an opportunity for exposure to underclass students.
This year, the prizes (cups, wristbands, and candy) are a reward to seniors for pursuing their secondary options, and giveaways (laptop, microwave, and gift cards) are resources that they can use in the fall for college.
The entire school is invited to share in the celebration, making this event part of the important goal of creating a college-going culture in W.!
