My district is rolling out new reading curriculum next year. My colleagues and I have been to many trainings already to prepare us to teach this curriculum. I have been filled with excitement and enthusiasm about all of the possibilities with this new curriculum! One example the trainer said we could do is have a small group with an interactive read aloud on ipads. The students can do assignments, their writing, marking text we're reading, all on their ipads. The world will literally be theirs to explore! I will be using other interactive activities as well, beyond just the new curriculum. These activities include Nearpod, Suitesmart, and Google classroom.
