Each year that I have taught, my students always learn that "please" and "thank you" are my favorite words and one of my favorite life lessons. Every year my students teach me something new, though. They constantly amaze me with the way they share their ideas. Often our lessons revolve around "prove it!" or explain our thinking. I am in awe of how their little brains grow, development, and how they see the world. They challenge me to answer questions and to become a stronger educator. But above all, they know that we are a team and we are in this together. We work together, we laugh, we cry, we ask questions, we tell stories, and we strive to do our best! Each of my students enters and leaves the Ice Box each day knowing that I think they are "so fantastic! And so fabulous!" and I will always consider each of them one of my very dear friends.
