Pencils, Markers, Papers, oh my! For starters, one of the items that this project will need is a variety of writing tools. This will give children an option of what writing instrument they would like to use. Writing tools requested were both primary and preprimary sizes to foster fine motor growth. Children need these materials to use as their fine motor skills improve and develop. The skinny and thick pencils are called primary and preprimary pencils which will be used to strengthen each child's writing ability and desire to jot down ideas that will eventually transform into stories and other great ideas.
A student level writing desk was also requested. This will ensure that all students can comfortably sit and easy access to materials when writing. These project will be used to replace the current writing station table that the children’s have strayed away from. The goal is for the students to gravitate to the writing station to manifest writers and inspire story writing. It is our hope to make better writers today for future authors tomorrow.
