Every year I get a class of eager readers. I would love to provide them with more non-fiction books that are accessible and ready for them to read in our classroom. My students get very excited to share what they have learned from the books they read. They are engaged, thrilled and love to read. Our classroom library is lacking non-fiction books that my students can read independently. Many of the non-fiction books in our library are too hard for the students to read independently. They will use these books to increase their reading fluency and knowledge of non-fiction topics. These books will also provide opportunities for independent reading.
