The use of Wobble Chairs would be constant and continuous in the classroom. Not only during inclusion time but during any and all instruction taking place inside and outside the classroom. A bonus too is that the wobble chairs take up almost no space so we can take them to other classrooms and my students can find that sense of belonging by traveling with their chair.
By having Wobble Chairs, the students' sensory needs would be met and getting them to focus would no longer be a concern, the focus would be on increasing their learning! Allowing the students to wiggle and move during important lessons such as counting money, learning to read, and complete life skills are so important. These are life skills that you and I take for granted at times but are so important to instill in my students however, sometimes their sensory needs get in the way. But with the wobble chairs, we would no longer be worried about serving the sensory needs because that would be taken care of. The focus could be on the learning of these vital life skills.
