I started the school year with one yoga ball in my classroom, that I used as a reward for my students. It was a hit, so I got another. My student's behavior improved, as well as their attention spans and work ethic. Since then, I have added a cushion and a couple of stools. I would love to give my students more options including wobble chairs, disks, and more yoga balls.
My goal is to have every student be able to participate.
What I have available in our classroom is sot after daily, and I wish I had enough spots for every student. They are having so much fun and are comfortable during centers, tests, and regular lessons. These options will also help my students with ADHD to stay focused better in the classroom. Students are motivated and happy when they are in a fun learning environment.
We also need the organizers to hold the student's books, papers, and supplies because they won't be using desks. I want them learn how to be organized and clean.
