Students at our school, in grades 3-5, participate in state-wide testing several times a year. In order for our students to do well on their tests, they need proper equipment. Cheap headphones are not designed to last a long time, nor are they designed to be used by lots of students day-in and day-out. They break. The ear pieces fall apart. They don't muffle sound so students can focus on their tests or computer lab projects.
Your donation will not only help to improve student attention and focus, it will also help to increase their testing scores.
So many times during testing, students have to switch computers because they can't get the sound to work on their computers. This is due to malfunctioning headphones. When students have to move seats during testing, it disrupts their focus and attention. Students should not have to worry about their headphones working when they come to the computer lab for testing.
