I have a very enthusiastic bunch of kids who love music. They are eager to learn and they love technology. Our school is a Title 1 school in a blue collar area of Northern California. 75% of our kids qualify for free or reduced lunch. We start band in 6th grade while surrounding school districts start in 3rd, 4th or 5th grade. My kids are at a disadvantage by starting behind their peers. My kids also don't have the opportunity like kids in surrounding school districts to take private lessons. Being able to use this kind of technology will help them catch up to their peers since they will have to compete with these kids for honor bands and scholarships.
