I plan to get more non-fiction books for my kiddos to read. The Who Is Series, The Who Was Series, The What Is Series, etc. These books are more popular as the kiddos have moved away from learning to read to actually reading to learn! There are several different series of Non-Fiction books for the kids to read but they are really interested in the National Geographic and Who Is, etc Series. The books are very engaging because they include real pictures as well as some Bobble Head characters that represent the person or event of the book. The books are on third grade levels which gives them more choices throughout the year. I also plan to use Teacher Pay Teachers to buy resources for the kiddos to use with their book choices. I plan to buy book studies, book marks with reading strategies for the books, and also some great resources that can be used to help with non-fiction skills! I want to encourage the love of reading and these books reach all learners!
