In Pre-K one of our main focuses is to learn how to interact well with one another. We do this through creative play centers that help build social skills. Students learn how to solve problems with peers, as well as other basic skill like sharing and forgiveness.
Learning how to be a part of a classroom community is so important in Pre-K. Students use their imagination through play and movement without this, we are unable to move into other academic areas that are vital for Pre-K. Learning to share, playing with one another, building relationships and developing positive self esteem will help them throughout their lives.
