The Biddy Farm with Fertile Chicken Eggs will offer my kindergarten students the opportunity to make observations to describe what animals need in order to survive. Students will collect, record, analyze and share their observations. Students will act like scientists and look for patterns and order when making observations about the world.
This project will give my students the ability to experience first hand how animals live and grow. At this stage, my students are little scientists. They are curious and like to explore the world around them. I am sure they will take this experience with them for the rest of their lives. Who knows? Maybe one day they will come back to me and say that this experience influenced them to be come a veterinarian, a doctor, a scientist or why not... a teacher.
