Makerspace is a hands-on learning room, where students in the entire school come to build projects based on a simple idea that they are given. In my classroom, I see all students in the school. We work on various projects throughout the year. This is my second year to teach Makerspace, and I am looking forward to many new projects with my students.
Makerspace is a great way for students to think outside the box and use their imagination. However with limited funds and parental support, we are limited in what activities we can do. Hot glue and liquid glue are used daily to build things like slides and cd art. By getting this glue and Play-Doh, I would have a greater chance of being able to create endless projects with my students.
