These items will help my students with learning while moving. My students have a variety of diagnosis that make them want to move and wiggle while they learn. These items will help them be part of their class while embracing their need for movement. Remote learning has been hard for all students and teachers, but especially for students with learning disabilities and impulse issues. We haven't truly seen the lasting affect remote learning has had in academics and social skills yet. As the school counselor, one of my big tasks is to teach social skills and coping skills. My projects for my groups is based on their need for academic, social and emotional growth. I like finding fun and creative ways to teach these skills. For example, we learned about teamwork by teaming up to play the BIG version of Sorry! that we were able to get thru DonorChose and supports like you. Those experiences will stay with them always.
