With technology taking over the classrooms, it would be a great way for my kids to use technology to keep them engaged in reading. It would allow me to record lessons that they could watch independently while I’m working with other students in the classroom. It would also help them discover different ways to practice their phonics at this early age so that the traditional classroom model doesn’t become redundant. The students would also have access to a variety of books outside of their school library that could peek their individual interests and possibly develop or feed a love of reading. These iPads can also be used to take assessments on programs such as Kahoot and complete group projects in the classroom. I want to make learning fun for my students for my student and what better way than incorporating something that they already love.
