The Lakeshore Learning Materials Paperback Classics Library will allow us to approach students with familiar stories that they can relate to. The Multicultural Library will allow us to help students connect to the diverse community in which they live. We will use these in our weekly visits to our local elementary school when students will read one on one and in small groups with their reading partners. We will use the STEM stories and math stories sets to reinforce literacy skills across the curriculum. This project is the very first for our future teaching academy. We are trying to build up a library to use with our partner schools.
