Purchasing a Ready-or-Not Tot can help students understand what real life is like with an infant. Students will be allowed to take the infant home overnight to experience what life is like with an infant in 24 hours. The doll documents how well the student takes care of the infant. It records how long the infant cries, etc. The report is then sent to the teacher for the teacher to be able to grade the student on how well they cared for the infant while in their care.
This also could help with the reduction of teen pregnancy. Often students see others with babies as glamourous. Students can see just how glamorous it is to be a parent at 2 am.
