Teaching at a Title 1 school means students have access to funding to give opportunities to use technology and advanced curriculum offered through online resources and apps. Special Education is funded differently and at times we are not given the same opportunities to the receive technology or similar resources for Math or Reading.
Teaching students with various needs definitely require resources or maximum supports that are not of the norm (adaptive seating, sensory items, manipulatives, or specialized curriculum). I often purchase these resources out of my own salary. Help my classroom reach for the stars and learn about them too!
