Having stability balls and sitting stools instead of chairs will help my students be able to concentrate for longer periods of time while building stronger bodies! Their bodies will feel less fatigued, their brains will be more engaged and their core muscles strengthened. The stability chairs will also be a great alternative seating for my students with special needs such as Autism, ADHD and ADD, which will help them focus. It is a win-win solution!
Because our first grade teachers already use this seating method in our school, the transition to second grade will be smooth, as students will be familiar with this seating arrangement.
