The I-Pad and printer will be used to maintain communication with The Cathedral Kitchen, to plan and systematize place mat layouts and to download templates for centerpieces. My students will learn how to create, plan and execute projects on a larger scale.
Most importantly my students will learn the concepts of giving and having a community spirit. They will see the translation of their ideas into reality. They then will be able to know that their actions positively impact the reality of others. My students will develop more compassion for those who have less than they do.
Students can also use the technology to research the plight of hunger in their community, the city as a whole and nationwide. They can research and expand on their learning by studying the causalities of homelessness and begin to direct their attention to formulating projects and proposals to combat the poverty in the community.
