I work at a low income school with students from incredibly diverse backgrounds. Many of them work after school jobs to help support their family. A lot of them are working hard to learn English, having recently moved from countries that speak Spanish, Arabic, Russian, and many more. Despite the challenges that they face, I am impressed every day by their work ethic and the sense of community they bring. They are always willing to help each other out and striving to make sure that everyone can succeed.

About my class
