Learning through play is the best experience than any child can have from ages birth through 5 years of age. I currently work with the ages of 3 to 5, so socially/emotionally, they have some developmental milestones that have to be accomplished at a certain age. I chose a variety of science, math, literacy, dramatic play, gross and fine motor materials to enhance the development of these particular skills: (cognitive, social, physical, and gross motor development). The dramatic play appliances stuck out to me because it relates these events to the real-world and allow children the opportunity to experience mixing and blending like their parents do at home! A variety of different toys and objects will give children the opportunity to learn different things, to enhance their development in different skill levels, and it will make learning fun for them!
