"Everyone is a reader, some just haven't found their favorite book yet". Kindergarten is the perfect time to instill a love of reading. As a kindergarten teacher and avid reader myself, it is my goal to create a love of literacy in my classroom. The books listed in this project will help me to teach children about reading, a variety of topics to engage each child, as well as teaching them fiction and nonfiction. Literacy is not just about being able to read the words on a page but enjoy the story. Literacy Love will help to teach that idea.
