Students in K-2 attend a Special Education Resource classroom for various reasons. Majority of the students are struggling readers and are struggling with focus and movement issues. Fellow teachers from other districts have had great success with the Gaiam ball chairs. It is a great tool in helping student with hyperactivity issues and focus challenges.
My goal is to provide students with as many interventions to assist them in closing the learning gap so they can pedal forward with their learning. A chair that assists in focus and movement is an asset and a great intervention for my young students what will not interrupt the flow of the learning in the classroom.
