I am a special education teacher in an public school. The school I teach at has a diverse population with over half of the students from low income homes. These students also qualify for the free/reduced price lunch program.
In my classroom, I work with students that benefit from sensory breaks, a quiet environment, and social/ emotional education. These students also benefit from working in a small group or in a 1:1 setting.
