With Micro:Bits, my students will learn to code and interact with their environment through the onboard sensors, make sense of their findings, and utilize that information to create meaning and draw conclusions. Through a series of guided examples, students discover how each sensor operates and how to interact with it.
Students discover how easy it is to code and make meaningful projects. From programming with displays to animation to binary and visuals and even to passwords and security, the students will enjoying and be engaged in everything that we can do with such a small item. They will then apply what they have learned when they get to build and program their own robots in the following unit.
