Support Mrs. Lind's classroom with a gift that fosters learning.
We would like to celebrate the gift of reading by providing the same book to each one of our students to read together school wide. The book we have chosen, "Whoever You Are," is aimed at unifying people all over the world regardless of cultural differences. The message serves each one of us with the hope of understanding that while each one of us are uniquely different, at the core we are the same.
By contributing to this project, you will help unite an entire school. The benefits of reading are tremendous. Research shows that reading encourages a child’s cognitive development, improves language skills and academic performance, and aids in emotional attachment. Reading aloud together as a family lets children use their imaginations to explore people, places, times and events beyond their own experiences.
Activities associated with the book will be directed toward our entire student population, kindergarten through 5th grade. Our vision is to create connections within the school and ultimately have a positive impact on our students, families, and staff. Please help us by contributing to our goal!
