I teach a course in Web Design at a center school for career education. That means my students choose to come from high schools throughout my district to learn specialized skills and earn industry-based certifications to help launch their future careers. Next year I will be adding a content creation portion to my web design course. Students will learn to produce and edit images, audio, and video that can be used on their website and on social media. This will give my students an opportunity to earn additional industry-based credentials, as well as hone the skills needed to run social media campaigns for businesses, which is a career that is on the rise.

About my class
