These books will continue to build my global library classroom. The students love learning about other students' experiences around the world. I am working on finding more books that help the students build empathy to others and their world. The students truly enjoy having choice in the books that they read. By building up the classroom library, it will provide them with more choices and appeal to their interests. Throughout the semester/year, the students participate in two to three book clubs where they choose the book that they are interesting in reading and discussing. Giving them choices motivates them to learn!

About my class
