My students will participate in a book study to understand the nature of science with the books I have chosen. First, they will learn about the nature of science and explore each tenet of science as we read. As a class we will create goals for the reading before we read the book. I will assign chapters and reflection questions.
The mobile whiteboard, markers, and paper will be used daily to create concept maps, infographics and science posters. Concept maps are a great way to build and show understanding. Students struggle with creating concept maps, infographics and science posters and these supplies will help with this.
