Full Inclusion Special Education Classroom in Hercules, CA. Servicing up to 12 students Transitional Kindergarten through fifth grade all with qualifying diagnosis. Most of the students have the diagnosis of Autism. Even with an Autism diagnosis each student is able to spend most of their day in the general education classroom with academic pull-out and push-in services. The classroom is very non-traditional, with a lot of flexible seating and student center rotations in order to provide each student with exactly what they need to be successful.
On top of academic support, the majority of my students also require behavioral and social interventions. In my classroom we hold social group once a week, with a major focus on self-regulation and personal interactions.
Our classroom is set-up with a major focus on all learning styles in which each student is set up for success. We are a very loving and fun class.
