All my students want to play the xylophones! Our big bass xylophones are under a table. Those big ones are awkward and heavy to move so the students don't get to play them often. These Orff Instrument Stands will allow the xylophones to be moved as needed for playing time and performances and make it easy to put them back at the end of class. Giving my students access to the larger xylophones will bring delightful smiles to my 4th graders and squeals of glee and surprise to my 5th graders. It's been difficult to have such nice, beautiful instruments not used very much because of the logistics of making them accessible to the students in our very short 30 minute classes. The new mallets are needed so more students can play at the same time and play with matching mallets, many that we currently use are worn out and mismatched.
