Students need materials that they are interested in in order to engage their learning. It is not enough just to teach my students how to read. I have to encourage their learning, inspire their practice, and provide resources that the school cannot provide. I'm trying to build my library so students are able to find things that they enjoy reading. Books allow people to escape reality and my students sometimes need that given their home-lives. I would love to be able to give them a new world to explore. I am hoping that I can bring back the love of reading.

About my class
