All the students in my classroom have a severe intellectual or physical disability and have difficulty learning in the "traditional" sense. Being a student with a disability in our district allows them the opportunity to stay in school until the age 21, so often they are with me for seven years. I would like to use the Silhouette Cameo 3 to create a Creation Station within our classroom. This station would allow us to create individualized communication boards and visual aids for our entire classroom that will stimulate more communication. These items would also help provide a more print-rich environment for everyone.
We would also like to take our "Creation Station" to the next level by using the Silhouette Cameo to create a classroom student-based enterprise. We would use the Cameo to create things for our classroom to sell, within our school, in hopes to generate funds to fund future classroom projects. There are many needs for this machine within our classroom and all of them will benefit my students greatly.
