Literacy centers are the busiest time during our literacy block! Students complete different hands-on activities to engage their mind and body in learning how to read. These phonics, phonemic awareness and reading learning centers are the perfect activities for little hands and minds. Having a wide variety of hands-on activities will provide differentiation within our literacy centers so that each student's unique needs are met. Not only will these ready to go centers help our students to read, but they will also help them to develop the fine motor skills needed for writing.
This project will make a difference for my students because it will incorporate hands-on activities into our literacy centers. The most important way students learn, is through play. Help us use learning centers in our classrooms!
