I have already begun my flexible seating journey that I have funded myself. I have noticed such an amazing change in my student's learning and engagement, that I can't stop now!
I would love to be able to offer my students more choice of where they will sit in our classroom to be most successful!
I have so many energetic students that really do need to 'get their wiggles out' during the day. These seating options will allow my students to do this while continuing to learn.
We will use wiggle bands on our chairs to keep our feet moving, rollling chairs, beanbags, small floor tables to work around the room, and a rocking chair to get our wiggles out while learning.
I feel that it is so important for students to feel comfortable in the classroom in order to learn. I want my students to WANT to come to school and be in my classroom. The theme of my room is really a comfy and cozy place to learn!
