Our English Language Learners come from a low socio-economic status. They come to school hungry and cannot afford to bring a healthy snack to eat during class before lunch. Many of them cannot afford to eat breakfast at their home because they do not have the money. I would like to have healthy snacks like granola bars and pretzels to eat while they work. The snacks will help the scholars to energize during class time before they go to their late lunch which is at 12:35. The snacks will also help them after school, as almost all of them take a long bus ride home.
Please help me feed our wonderful and intelligent students!
