My students with attention issues need seats that allow them to wiggle without being a distraction to others. Having only basic chairs, these students are standing, tipping and laying on their chairs because they don’t move. Having a seat that moves with them will help them stay engaged. These wobble chairs and balance ball seats will be just what they need! My students with special needs would benefit from seating that is more comfortable for their sensory issues. My classroom as a whole would love the opportunity to choose the seat that works best for them. The opportunity for students to choose their seating makes leaning more excited and helps them to be engaged in our daily activities. Some of the seats I would get are wobble stools which allow for movement on different directions. I would also get yoga balls with pegs to keep them from rolling all over the class. These yoga balls enable students to bounce softly to get the movement out they need.
