The stability balls I am requesting will allow my students to focus more on their learning rather than wanting to get up and move around. The stability balls allow my students to bounce their "wiggles" out when they feel the need. The donations to this project will allow the stability balls to be used at my guided reading table as well as my assistant's guided reading table Let's face it, first graders are full of great energy and this is the perfect way to satisfy their need for movement and learning at one time. I want to create a fun and engaging classroom, I believe this is the perfect way to allow my students to focus during group work as well as being able to move when they start to feel restless.
