Project Based Science, in conjunction with our Birds and Blooms Club, is working hard to complete a community service project. We would like to build a certified bluebird trail at our high school that will be maintained by both sets of students. We will use this as a STEM type project, then monitor the houses, collect data, report to the Ohio and American Bluebird Association, and hopefully successfully fledge bluebirds! In order to create this trail to enhance our school and city community, my students need the materials to build the houses. These kits contain everything they will need to do this, without the use of power tools, which they do not have time to successfully and/or safely, learn how to use. They will, however, be able to put something together that will make them proud and successful. Each group that works on a house will be responsible for that house. They will monitor and collect all data, and care for the maintenance for that year. The next year, a new group will be assigned to each house.
