Part of our classroom curriculum requires that at least once or twice a week every student is on a computer or iPad in order to complete lessons that will help take them from their current level of math to the next level until they ultimately reach their current grade level. Computers and iPads have been a huge success in my classroom, but recent constraints with money has left us with old and mostly slow computers that do more to hinder learning than advance it.
Our age of technology where many of my students are better with computers than I was requires that we work to provide them with the tools they will need in order to become the most successful!
My students are have been placed in special education and have their own individual needs and requirements. The beginning steps of being able to provide every student with technology in their hands every time we have to work on math lessons will take us farther and farther each year to help accelerate each student to bigger and better things as they move on from my classroom and our school. Please consider helping with our technology needs!
