These materials will help my students thrive in the classroom. The sensory rocker will help my students who need to rock in order to relax. The sound of the rain stick will help my students relax. The canopy will allow my students a safe place to go and calm down. A lot of students feel safe in a small, confined space, like this canopy.
This calm down space will give my students a place to learn how to regulate their emotions by finding what works best for them. It is my hope that by learning how to regulate their emotions at a young age, they will be able to grow up to be successful, happy adults.
