This is my first year as an ESL/Bilingual Resource Teacher at Mendota Elementary in Madison Metropolitan School District. The school is 65% free/reduced lunch with a wide range of ethnic groups. My ELL students come from many different countries. Some countries are Mexico, Afghanistan, Brazil, Honduras, etc. They are learning a new language, culture and school setting. The students are appreciative and grateful for anything they receive.
