Kindergartners are natural scientists--always thinking and questioning about their world around them.
An incubator will bring science to life right before my students' eyes, providing the the best way to get them engaged in scientific exploration and the love of learning! Projects like this one can be the opportunity that encourages even the most reluctant learner to see themselves as a capable learner and bridge progress. A classroom incubator will allow my class of 26 kindergartners to learn about the chicken life cycle in a real world setting.
My students will become scientists by reading, writing, using math, predicting, planning, observing and caring for the eggs and newly hatched chicks. This will be an experience they and future classes will remember for a lifetime!
