Preschoolers are active little people! They need space to run and play as well as activities to engage in. I want to bring their dramatic play fun outside with a backyard barbecue where they can cook and engage in rich language experiences. Games such as bowling and corn hole will teach cooperative play, turn taking and social interaction while Pogo sticks will promote gross motor coordination.
Preschool children need to release their energy and run and play outside so they are better able to sit and focus in the classroom. Promoting social interactions, gross motor activities coupled with academics will help to further their development.
