The STEM bins allow my students to have choice when challenging themselves each day. There will be suggestions of things the student can build via cards. The students will choose a card and a medium to which they want to use to engineer their card. We will also use these bins to work on different literacy skills. The students will have a writing component and reflection with each design. The students will also have a chance to use speaking skills to share their STEM creations with the class during our classroom meetings.
I would love for this activity to be available for my students each morning to focus their brains and learning for the day.
This is an open-ended activity that has endless possibilities. I can't wait to see all the creative ways my students can use these bins each day.
