As a new teacher, I have noticed that students need more stimuli and hands-on activities to learn and be engaged. An effective way to do so is by setting up the classroom in a way that students have about 20 minutes per station (or activity) so that they learn by writing, reading, creating and feeling while being engaged. These students need more resources such as the prepared biology slides so that they can relate science to their lives, tablets to watch videos, create presentations, and play educational games while learning. At the same time using models help understanding concepts better.
